Mark O’Brien joined Trader Corporation in 2007 and was appointed to his current role as Vice President – Sales, Automotive, Generalist and Employment in December 2010.
In his previous position as General Manager Sales, Ontario and Western Canada, Mr. O’Brien successfully led the overall transformation of Trader Corporation’s national sales force which included the creation of a customer assignment structure, as well as the development and implementation of a new sales compensation model. He has also been instrumental in the successful deployment of Trader’s new media platform in June of 2009 and the subsequent re-engineering of Trader’s value proposition to reflect these product and service enhancements.
Prior to joining Trader, Mark O’Brien was the Director of Sales for Ontario for Purolator Courier Limited, Canada’s largest courier company. Mark has also held senior sales roles with several other organizations in the logistics, office equipment and e-commerce industries. Independent of his sales leadership career, he has served as Vice-President of Marketing for the Ireland-Canada Chamber of Commerce and President of the Toronto Gaelic Athletic Association.
