Monsieur Sebastian Baldwin a été nommé président de la Société TRADER en juillet 2011. Ses responsabilités incluent la réussite et la rentabilité de TRADER à titre de marque #1 du secteur automobile numérique auprès des Canadiens.

Avant de se joindre à TRADER, M. Baldwin était à l’emploi de Trader Media Group (TMG), une société basée au Royaume-Uni. En sa qualité de directeur général du groupe des affaires numériques, il était membre de l’équipe de direction. À ce titre, il était responsable de la croissance commerciale du principal actif de TMG, autotrader.co.uk, qui, sous sa gouverne a enregistré une croissance soutenue dans les deux chiffres et ce,  tant en ce qui a trait aux ventes et qu’aux bénéfices. Il avait auparavant occupé le poste de directeur général de la division mobile d’autotrader.co.uk, où il a su déployer une stratégie mobile gagnante au Royaume-Uni, en Afrique du Sud et en Italie ; les plates-formes mobiles de l’entreprise enregistrant des gains substantiels.

M. Baldwin s’est progressivement bâti une brillante carrière au cours de laquelle il a oeuvré dans les domaines des médias en ligne et mobiles, des petites annonces classées, des répertoires d’entreprises et de la recherche en ligne. Il a notamment été responsable de l’élaboration de la stratégie, du développement de produits et de la commercialisation de la division Mobile de Sensis, où il a nommément participé à la mise en service du tout premier moteur de recherche géo-dépendant de l’Australie, pour le compte de Yellow Pages. Il a aussi tenu des responsabilités-clés lors du développement des sites Web de type « style de vie » et de cartographie bien connus en Australie, chez CitySearch^® et Whereis.

M. Baldwin est l’un des contributeurs-clés à la stratégie de croissance continue des activités automobiles numériques de la Société TRADER pour laquelle il doit rendre compte du rendement de l’ensemble de ses activités.

Sebastian Baldwin was appointed President of TRADER Corporation in July, 2011. He is responsible for TRADER’s success and profitability as the No 1 digital automotive brand for Canadians.

Mr. Baldwin came to TRADER Corporation from U.K.-based Trader Media Group. He was part of the executive team in the capacity of Group Director of Digital. He was responsible for the commercial growth of TMG’s core asset autotrader.co.uk, where he delivered double digit growth at both the top and bottom line over his tenure. Previous to that role he was the Director of Mobile for autoTRADER.co.uk where he developed a successful mobile strategy for the U.K., Ireland, South Africa and Italy, achieving substantial growth for the company’s mobile platforms.

Mr. Baldwin has had a distinguished career spanning online & mobile media, classifieds, directories and search. He previously led strategy, product development and commercialization at Sensis’ Mobile Group, where he launched Australia’s first mobile location-aware search engine for Yellow Pages. He has also spearheaded leading lifestyle and mapping websites in Australia, for CitySearch® and Whereis.

Mr. Baldwin is core to TRADER Corporation’s strategy of continuous growth in the online automotive landscape, where he is accountable for all business disciplines.

John King s’est joint au Trader Media Group (TMG) en 2007, à titre de chef de la direction.
